How to choose a custom bike bottle

Start with who will ride with it. A club bottle in kit colors goes on every group ride of the season, so pick one riders like to squeeze. A bottle in every rider's bag at a gran fondo, triathlon or charity ride should be light and priced for the whole field. A bike shop's bottle, or one handed out on a company ride, carries your name long after the day. Compare the lid, material and capacity on each product page; prices are on the cards above, and quantity discounts vary by bottle.

Squeeze, valve, aluminum or insulated

Each product page names the bottle's material and lid.

Plastic squeeze bottles
The classic team bottle: light, squeezable plastic with a push-pull or drink-through lid. Many come in a choice of bottle and lid colors, so the bottle can match the kit, and some are made in the USA. See the Road Rebel 20oz Bike Bottle - Colors w/Push-Pull Lid.
Self-sealing valve bottles
A self-sealing cap with an on/off lock, as on CamelBak's Podium, cuts spills on the bike and locks shut in a bag. See the CamelBak Podiumr 3.0 Chill 21oz.
Aluminum bike bottles
Metal bottles with screw-on sip-top lids, some printed in full color. They don't squeeze, so riders sip rather than spray. See the 24 Oz. Memphis Recycled Aluminum Bike Bottle.
Insulated bottles
A squeeze bottle in a neoprene insulating sleeve, or CamelBak's double-wall stainless steel Podium, keeps water cold longer on hot rides. See the 22 Oz. Van Metro 4CP Sport Bottle w/Sleeve & Push-Pull Lid.
Recycled plastic
Some bike bottles are made from recycled PET; the product page names the material. See the Pedal Pusher 27oz Recycled Transparent Contour Bottle w/Push-Pull Lid.

Cage fit, lids and capacity

Every bottle here is a bike bottle of 20 to 28 oz, and each product page lists its capacity: a shorter bottle suits a small frame, a taller one a long ride. Cages differ, so before a team order, ask and we confirm the bottle you choose fits your riders' cages. Push-pull lids open with a tug; drink-through and valve lids flow without one.

Team colors, sponsors and artwork

Most bike bottles are screen printed in one or a few colors inside a set imprint area, and several take a logo on each side: the club's mark on one side, sponsors on the other. Send every logo and say which leads; your digital proof shows each one at its size and position. Bottles with full color in their name, and some neoprene-sleeve bottles, print full-color artwork. Full color is not the same as a full wrap: the print covers the imprint area, not the whole bottle, unless the product page says so. Production waits until you approve the proof.

Bottles for teams, races and shops

Cycling teams and clubs
A round of bottles in kit colors for members, and the same design again when new riders join or a new season starts.
Gran fondos, triathlons and charity rides
A bottle in every rider's bag at packet pickup, with the event's logo and its sponsors'. Give us your event date when you ask, and we check production and shipping against it.
Marathons and 5Ks
A squeeze bottle in the race bag is a participant gift runners can take on every training run after.
Bike shops and sponsors
A shop bottle to sell at the counter or give with a new bike, or a sponsor's logo beside a team's or an event's.
Company rides and wellness programs
A bottle for each rider on a company ride, a charity team or a wellness challenge.

Questions buyers ask us

What is the price range for custom bike bottles, including small teams?

Among the priced product cards on this page, published per-bottle prices span $1.10–$29.54 across the shown quantity breaks. Your quote confirms the price for your bottle, decoration and quantity. For small and large runs, ask for a quote.

What can a cycling team customize on bike bottles?

Choose a listed bottle, capacity and available bottle or lid colors, then send the team, club or sponsor logo. Product listings name screen printing and, on some styles, full-color artwork. We confirm the selected bottle's imprint area and method before your digital proof; rider names need a maker check.

What bike bottle materials and sizes are available?

This collection has 20 to 28 oz bottles: plastic squeeze and recycled plastic styles, recycled aluminum, insulated neoprene-sleeve styles and stainless steel Podium bottles. Each product page names its material, capacity and lid. Ask us to confirm cage fit for the bottle your riders choose.

How does a team order custom bike bottles?

Tell Award Maven your team or event, preferred bottle, logos, approximate quantity and in-hands date. We send a quote, then a digital proof for your approval. Production starts after you approve the proof, and shipping follows production.

Can creators and influencers sell branded bike bottles as merch?

Yes. Award Maven makes custom branded bike bottles for creator and influencer merch, cycling teams, clubs, gyms, schools and events, alongside companies. Send your brand name or logo, colors and quantity; for small and large runs, ask for a quote.

More questions (7)

Which bike bottles fit a bottle cage?

Every bottle on this page is a bike bottle of 20 to 28 oz, and some product pages speak to cage fit: the Road Rebel's says it fits most bike cages, and the CamelBak Podium Chill's says it is designed to fit a variety of bottle cages. Cages differ, so if fit matters for your riders, ask and we confirm it for the bottle you choose before you order.

Can we get CamelBak Podium bottles with our logo?

Award Maven carries CamelBak Podium bike bottles, the Podium Chill and the insulated stainless steel Podium among them. Their product pages don't list a logo method or imprint area yet, so ask and we confirm with the maker how and where your logo can go before you order.

Will our bike bottles arrive before race day?

Most promotional products take 1–2 weeks after proof approval, plus shipping, and a bottle's product page shows its own production time where the maker lists one. Give Award Maven your ride or race date when you ask, and we tell you whether it holds before you commit.

Can our sponsors' logos go on the team bottles too?

Yes. Send every logo and say which leads. Several bottles take a logo on each side, so the team's mark can go on one side and sponsors on the other, and Award Maven's digital proof shows each logo at its size and position before anything is made.

Can you print a bike bottle in full color or wrap the whole bottle?

Some can: bottles with full color in their name and some neoprene-sleeve bottles print full-color artwork. Most bike bottles are screen printed in one or a few colors inside a set imprint area, and a print covers the whole bottle only where its product page on Award Maven says so. Send your artwork and we tell you what suits it.

Can each rider's name or number go on their bottle?

None of the bike bottles on Award Maven lists a name or number on each bottle as a standard option. Tell us what you have in mind, and we check with the maker of your bottle whether it can be done for your quantity before you order.

What logo file should we send for custom bottles?

Send what you have: vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) give the best results, but a PNG, JPG or rough file is enough to start. Award Maven's team checks the art and flags anything that needs cleanup before your proof.
